There's a Sheetz within walking distance which is great for heading back out on the road first thing in the morning. The room was a lot cleaner than most rooms at comparable prices. Like most crappy hotels, this one had great Wi-Fi and internet, because there weren't enough people staying there to slow it down.
The staff leaves a lot to be desired. The woman working overnight was rude and acted like I was bothering her by asking for a room. In the morning, the office was completely abandoned. Me and two other parties were waiting around for at least 20 minutes to check out before we finally just piled our keys up on the desk and left a note. Instead of a constant hum like most hotels, the air conditioner would turn completely off then kick on repeatedly. It's about as loud as your average air compressor. I kept waking up during the night because I was either too hot from it not being on, or because it was so loud it would startle me away.

The location
We didn't have any housekeeping service for our 3 night stay. We had to track down the only housekeeper they had working to get towels. We would have liked to have had housekeeping service while we were there but that didn't happen. We had to go to the office each evening to have the key card reset as it wouldn't work. I wanted an itemized bill when we left but no one was in the office. The room had maintenance issues and when I picked up the phone to call the front desk the phone was filthy.

Single queen room had fridge, microwave, safe, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, cable TV, and decent lighting. Door has deadbolt and security closure. Included continental breakfast even had peanut butter and jelly. Facility (former Howard Johnson's) is old but clean. Good value for the $.
Outside entry doors were unlocked although there was a mechanism to use the key card. I was told by Manager that they are no longer locked.
